Geoffrey d'Anjou V, Plantagenet, Count of Anjou was George Washington's 17-20 great-grandfather. He was the son of Fulk V, Count of Anjou and King of Jerusalem. He married Matilda, daughter of King Henry I "Beauclerc" of England and Matilda Atheling, Princess of Scotland. His son Henry II "Curtmantle" Plantagenet founded the Plantagenet line of English kings.

Geoffrey d'Anjou V, Plantagenet, Count of Anjou was George Washington's 17-20 great-grandfather. He was the son of Fulk V, Count of Anjou and King of Jerusalem.
